LOS ANGELES (AP) — Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted "King of Pop" who emerged from childhood superstardom to become the entertainment world's most influential singer and dancer before his life and career deteriorated in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday, a person with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press. He was 50.
The person said Jackson died in a Los Angeles hospital. The person was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity

Circumstances made him hard to understand to the common person. Perhaps it is best that he went out before more scandals completely destroyed him. |

Yeah, I don't know if I should mourn due to some of the stuff said about him. But I still kinda do since I grew up with alot of his songs. |

Yeah...may he rest in peace. V-V
Believe it or not, I'm listening to my radio right now and my favorite radio station is now putting songs from Micheal Jackson.
My favorite song from Micheal Jackson is "Thriller" and "Eddy you're Okay" (I think that's the title of that song. If not, someone please correct me ^^!) |

I'm such a heartless person right now... the first thing I thought of when you mentioned "Thriller" was zombie Michael Jackson, and I started laughing my ass off.
Just sort of seems sad that MJ's death has completely overshadowed Farrah Fawcett's death. Sorta like what happened when Princess Di and Mother Teresa died around the same time as eachother... |

*pat Johnny on the back*
No worries, Johnny.
Well, at least, his children has a mother and will be living with her. What was her name, again? |

I believe that song is "Smooth Criminal". I know Alien Ant Farm did a cover of it. |

I'm so sad that he died...I actually liked his singing and music, and I thought 'Thriller' was one of the best.
I cried when my maman told me he keeled over. Heart attack. So sad. |

I mourn the passing of a great artist and ignore all the bad press about him, since the media blows things so far out of proportion it's not even funny. |

Agree, Mr. Gray.
There comes to time that the press goes too far when they enter more in a celebrity's private life that he/she does not want to share to the public. *sigh* |
