Hope I don't bother all of you too much, but I need to rant. I've been feeling pretty down and out lately, but I suppose I always do. Anyways, I may have mentioned that my mother-in-law recently passed. What I didn't mention was that the family put the bill squarely on my stepfather-in-law's shoulders. Why? Because to them, it was his fault. Anyways, that's fine except he lost almost all his money in the stock market a couple months before. Because my mother-in-law was believed to be intoxicated at the time and hit another vehicle, lawsuit became a possibility, which meant legal action to protect the assets that would go to her children. Guess what that meant? Even more money that we don't have. My financial aid can't come soon enough because it would really help keep me from completely losing it and either killing my stepfather-in-law for always needing to be an arrogant prick, even when he's broke, or doing something else irrational that I may well regret. I'm sick of the tense worry that clings around the house like a choking fog. About the only positive thing we had was a pool. A recent addition to help relax us, until the city asked us to get a permit. Just when we thought we would get it, the last person needed decides we need a fence along the back of the property, which just happens to already be cut off by a saltwater canal. A $600 fence is the last thing we need on top of all our other stresses. I just feel better getting it all of my chest, and sorry if I scared or offended anyone.

there is absloutly nothing wrong with using this forum to vent a little bit. you know someones always listening here.

when i first read the title of the thread i thought this would be a discussion about how money is supposedly the root of all evil, go figure Rolling Eyes

Oh, its alright hunny. Don't worry, everything will get better. Things like this usually do. Just,(and I know this is lame) keep your chin up, your head held high, and pretend you don't have a care in the world. That's what I've been doing lately.

When you get home though, I reccomend punching a pillow or something.
