I've never played any of the Resident Evil games. The only zombie game I've played was Dead Rising, which was fun, but not really my style. I tend to prefer my zombies in movies, and especially in books. Razz

heard good things about dead rising, never played it though.....

im not much of a reading type, zombie related or otherwise, but i have seen a few zombie movies, dawn of the dead, the first resident evil flick,... and shuan of the dead(dunno if that counts as a zombie, since its more of a comedy)

Shaun of the Dead is awesome, and I do consider it a zombie movie. One of the best I've seen actually. Smile

This reminds me that the remake of Day of the Dead is out where I live, so I'll have to keep an eye on that one too.

Have you gotten around to reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies yet? I know I shouldn't be the only one waiting to get my hands on this book... or to see its film adaptation...

I've heard about it, but I honestly don't know what to think of it. It sounds rather bizarre. Laughing

There's no date on when Doom 4 is going to come out. They're saying that they're working on it. so that really doesn't give us any info if they are working on it.

I've finally got my hands on World War Z. I'm really looking forward to reading it. It's been too long since I last read a zombie book. Aside from The Walking Dead, I'm really not sure what the last one was.

I love anything that involves zombies.

I guess my fascination began when I watched a friend play the Playstation game: 'Resident Evil 2: The Directors Cut'. I was freaked out of my mind and had nightmares about it. Then again, I was more or less still an impressionable preteen at the time, but then I became adventurious and watched the movie, played a few games myself, and even took the final challenge of 'Dawn of the Dead'.

Was that the new one or the original Dawn of the Dead. I have both, and while I think that the original is great and has an awesome setting, I guess I was a little turned off by the poor effects and how part of the movie was a bit slow and uneventful. But perhaps I shoul to watch it again sometiem soon.

The remake is great, and one I've watched several times, though I do very much prefer slow zombies.

You'd think being from around the same neck of the woods as George Romero, I'd be in more into zombie films, but I have never really been that into them. I have seen all 3 Resident Evil movies though, and Shaun of the Dead. I had actually met a few people that were extras in the original Night of the Living Dead, one of whom ran a video store near my hometown.

One movie I like that I'm not sure how it fits for the whole Zombie thing is The Crow. He's not really a zombie, but he is a walking, talking, murdering dead guy.

Well, I watched the new one, the graphics were good, the story seemed to flow to keep me reeled in, and I was always standing at the edge of my seat when I first saw it.

If you want a creeepy/strange/funny as hell zombie movie, I reccomend 'Shaun of the Dead'. Awesome movie, really funny.

I also have...
Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, all in original, and in remake. I luuuuurve zombies....
And i have played Left 4 Dead on xBox..It's addicting.

i usually look at when the movies were made before i get overly critical about special effects. Haven't seen to new one, though i thought Romero's was great.

ugh, I remember going through Ravenholmn on half-life 2 for the first time, I was more afraid of the priest with the shotgun than those headcrab zombies though...

Anyone else here familiar with the Re-animator series of films? The first one is definitely a must-see, not just for zombie fans but for fans of horror or cult films. Even by today's standards, the first one is great, even if the special effects seem a bit dated.
