I have several web comics that I follow, and a couple of forums that I participate in, and sometimes I can't believe the stuff that people can find out on the internet...
Like this...http://www.piercedglasses.com/
I myself wear glasses, but this, to me at least, is a little in the weird zone. I'd rather wear contacts than put a bolt through my nose to attach magnetic lenses to...

A little intimidating in appearance at first, but I don't really see it as being all that painful to have done. The are shown at the top of the bridge of the nose actually has a pretty good amount of cushion and would be similar to an ear piercing. However, it looks like part of it goes under the eyebrow. Again, not exactly too bad, as I've seen a few pierced eyebrows in my day. Hard to be called a nerd for wearing glasses when you do that, that's for sure. |

It does'nt seem all that different from getting any other kind of body piercing, and this one at least serves some practical purpose. It seems similar to pince nez if you ask me. |

You misinterpret my meaning of the comment good sir. I meant it as an attack against the ignorant people that prefer to label anyone with glasses as a nerd and not as an insult to the targets of such labelling |

Indeed we are, I don't think the people would survive if it wasn't for those of us that are willing to sit in front of a comp for hours on end fixing there beloved webpages emails. Power to the Nerds we shall have our revenge! ...again. |

Hell ya. Power to the nerds and people who can only see it on the internet!
Although that last bit may not be needed.... |

Well, that would solve the problem I always have of my glasses gradually sliding down my nose, meaning I endlessly have to push them back up again. |

Yes, exactly why I wouldn't get it done. I'd rather have laser eye surgery than get a piercing like that, thanks. |

I tried contact lenses, but I kept having trouble getting them in and taking them out. I think for now I'll stick with my glasses. |
