Rolling Eyes A nice fantasy, but extremely doubtful...

...Is having a scapegoat really going to solve anything? =/

Don't get me wrong, I'm as displeased with Bush as most everyone else. But is he the core of the problem?

well when you look at how the U.S. system works then no its not his fault its the guy before him and so on because a lot of the bills that are past take effect after the new election and in reality yes he is pretty stupid and made a lot of mistakes but if the house and congress did there jobs right then we would not have the problems we have now but they know that if they slack on something than its the prez that gets blamed not them so they do stuff that they want and blame it on the president at the time to cover there own asses(parden the language) so I'm all for getting rid of bush but if we want to start having good presidents then we need new people in the house and congress.

that's what i think.

There's some truth to what you say. And ideally, if we managed to get a completely fresh set of individuals in the government, it's distinctly possible things might turn up better. Unfortunately, this basically...never happens. x_x

Personally, I thinke the root of all the United States' (and, believe it or not, most all other countries'!) problems go deeper than whoever happens to be in charge. Our social structures the world over neede some serious reassessment. But that's a can of wormes. ^^;
