| Awwww, such a sweet kitty
I had a great time thanks

I went to the Drag Race on Saturday. I got there at 10.30am, and the place was dead. From 10.30am to 1pm i signed 5 autographs as there was no one there. The people from Penthouse decided we should just leave. So went for a nice lunch, and i spent the evening chilling out at my hotel, which was nice

Cause normally the drag races are usually more popular on a Saturday then the Sunday, Penthouse said there was no point going back the next day. So on the Sunday i went to a Miami Dolphins football match with the owners and other people at Penthouse. It was really cool as they have a corporate box there, so we a/c, food and drinks. It was my first time going to any sports event, and so nice to do it in style

During half time i went out and signed some autographs for about 15 mins, then i ran out of pictures as there was so many people there wanting autographs.

Anyways i had a really cool trip

| Quite an interesting trip, but it sounds like you had a good time nonetheless! So what were your first impressions of American football? Did someone attempt to explain the rules of the game? I remember when my uncle tried to explain the game to me for the first time, I just said, Huh?
 Welcome home!

| Martina,
I should have read your message or I wouldn't have asked you if you ever went to a football (U.S.) "match." (see my message in the "Martina is in the spotlight" topic. Actually, it's called a "game" in this country, or more like a "fight." Match sounds too much like tennis.

I also saw you are going to Indiana this weekend, or you were scheduled to go. Should be much nicer than the Phoenix area, in terms of cooling down. I'm from around those parts. There's a lot of Octoberfests this time of year back in the Midwest. Lot of German heritage there.

Have a few beers on me.

Well the Penthouse box says Penthouse outside. And people could see me in the box from the front. So people started knocking on the door for autographs. So i stood outside the door, and signed autographs for people and took pictures with them during half time

Yes lots of people tried to explain the rules.

Heres what i got on the rules:

Basically they start in the middle with one team facing one way, and the other team facing the other. The big guys are in the front, and the fast skinny guys are at the back. The do a coin toss to see who will start with the ball, then they have 4 trys to go 10 yards, and if they dont make it the other team get the ball. If they run over the end line with the ball thats a touch down and they get 6 points. Once they get a touchdown they can choose whether they want to try and get an extra 1 or 2 points. They get 1 point for kicking it over the goal, and 2 points for bringing it there. Seems like most go for the 1 point as its very easy to kick.

I wasnt that into it, as its alot of stopping and starting. Plus its hard to see who has the ball. It was a great experience though

No caviar or champagne, but there was Wine and Hotdogs

Its cause where they did the drag race was out a bit, and also the nearest areas to it, were very rich areas, and not really the normal drag race crowd

| Martina,
You know a great deal about football! Your review of rules was excellent. I wish the announcers could be as concise and clear as you are. It's a very simple game, albeit brutal, but the analysts try to explain too much most times.

Maybe you can get into sideline reporting. I'd sure rather see you down there than some of the women they use. But you probably would be too distracting for the players. There would be lots of fumbles with you on the sidelines.

Did you know there was a lot of controversy a number of years ago when several of the NFL chearleaders posed in Playboy. They were fired from their jobs and it also led to a little less revealing costumes. In many ways, the NFL is very conservative when it comes to things like showing some skin. Well, you know what happened at the Super Bowl.

Have fun in Indiana. Tell them one of your favorite songs is, "Back Home in Indiana," and I'm sure they'll be thrilled. It's always sung at the Indy 500. Also, ask them how they feel about Bobby Knight being fired as the basketball coach of Indiana several years ago.
