What about when it’s dark and you go to turn on the light, but the light doesn’t work because it’s time to replace the bulb?
I like the room as dark as possible when I sleep. There should be nothing there in the dark that isn’t there in the light. I always make sure that all the doors are locked and that makes me feel safe enough. You always have a cell phone too incase you need to make an emergency 911 call.

   | Hmmm I always wonder whats around me when it's dark, especially if its not where i usually sleep
. I just make sure all the doors and windows are locked.
Can't sleep with a light on though
. And it gets light so early in the summer that I have to wear an eye patch so I dont wake up too early

Yes i always wonder whats around me when its completely dark, and then i scare myself by thinking about it that i cant sleep. I always since a kid have slept with some sorts of light on. Now i sleep with the hallway light on

when the light doesn’t turn on like that it reminds me of something that might happen in a horror movie

Yes you really notice the difference between 100 F in dry or humid weather.

Here when it is 100 F it feels like its a 100 F, in humidity when its 100 F it feels much hotter. Plus in humidity it feels like you need a shower every 5 mins cause very quickly you get sticky and sweaty. You dont get that feeling in Arizona, its more like walking into a oven here rather then a sauna/greenhouse
     |
The wedding turned out well despite being held outdoors. It was warm and humid, but the wedding programs were printed on fans, so lots of people were fanning themselves silly!

You are correct about the humidity. It is sometimes difficult to breathe when the humidity is high and it must be agony for those with breathing problems.

It was a good idea with the fans. Ashame they couldnt get a huge air condition unit too

Glad to hear it was a nice day

Yeah good idea about the fans!
I have to play at a friends wedding next friday. We will be playing some acoustic songs. I will be playing bass and mandoline. We just had our final rehearsal and she came to watch and was touched we had put in so much work for her.
   Hope everyone will like it.

Yeah, considering the steady downpours exactly one day after the wedding, I think my sis would have definitely taken the sunny weather and moderate temps.

I do like your giant sized ac unit idea though. Someone should come up with a city-sized unit to cool us off during these hot summer days.
