Somebody at school recently got me back into wanting to play pokemon and though White and Black bombed, I'm at least going to play the game to remake an old team that I enjoyed playing with. |

I just had my day made. I thought I had to spend $200 for a new DSi XL system and the new Black/White 2. Turns out for nearly 2 years, I had 100 dollars which paid off for a used Bronze DSi XL, and I had traded in a couple games, which paid off half of the White 2 I got. So all in all, for both objects, I only had to pay 22 dollars. |

I kinda wish that I had the option to get Treecko so I can play through the game with my favorite starter since Gen 2. Apparently, you need to get through the entire playthrough and get the national dex before you can trade for anything. Kinda blows. |

I try to avoid the use of Legendary pokemon so I can fight people on a level playing field. Legendaries have an unfair advantage on the stats department, and I want to win with my own skill.
I chose Snivy at first, but due to an accident, I started over, but thankfully it was not too far into the game. I chose Oshawatt second because of the samurai theme, plus I wanted the extra slot for a water user that could also use surf.
Infezant for the time being until such a time that I won't be needing Fly anymore, but it is a very useful pokemon in some occasions, though now its not as good since they don't learn much outside of their own types. I may replace it with Gligar later to fill that role of a Crippler later in the game.
Electavire/Magmortar- I don't have these just yet, but I wanted to have something fill in the lightning and fire slots, plus, they have decent move sets. They are more or less temporary till I find better alternatives.
Lucario- My god, who would'nt use this pokemon. It has more resistances than any other pokemon, and has a wide range of skills to fight nearly any pokemon in the game.
Zoroark. Yeah, I know this pokemon is'nt the best, but I love this pokemon if not for the fact that it is cool. Not as good as Darkrai, but Its good as a non legendary. |

i only used siad legendrys to beat the pokemon leuge ONLY for the simple reason they are quite strong againt what the leauge users have other then that im not useing them
my tyrue team i have now since i trashed the leauge is
lucario: yes i damn agree it has great moves a strong base state and the only weakness i know forth is fire but sine it learns bone rush you can cover it's weakness due to fire being weak againt ground types
sepior: i normaly always go for the fire type but i dont really like tepig and it being a fire/fighting type when it evolves it has to many weakness so i went for the grass type
genesect: yes genesect is a legndry pokemon but since i had it i aboustly love it and it learns a great range of moves includeing grass/poison/eletric/fire moves and it can also learn fly so i just kept it with me
drudigon: for the simple fact it is a kickassing dragon and pretty damn strong and can also learn a nice range of moves and without fail i always have a dragon type on my team
gengar: FUCKING awsome enoth said without fail i have always had a gengar in my team and i wont stop know i love the dark moves they can be pretty strong
electicbuzz: like you rune i also want as eleticvire but i have yet to find someone to trade it with |

Right now, I'm looking at my options for new potential pokemon. I'm looking into have 2 Sweepers, one of SP.ATK and the other A, 2 Defensers of both types, a Tank, and a Crippler. The only criteria I have is that I do not use legendary types with no exceptions.
Candidates include:
Pokemon: Aggron
Role: Defense Attacker
Ability: Rock Head
Nature: Careful (To give that extra SP.DEF)
Item Held: Muscle Band
Note: One of the few pokemon that has extremely High defense with an equally impressive Attack stat. I chose Rock Head as an abiltiy armed with a Focus Sash to gain the best possible defensive ability. To make it so that when Aggron attacks using moves that have recoil damage, then Rock head would ignore it.
Pokemon: Mantine
Role: Defense
Ability: Water Absorb
Nature: Bold
Item Held: ?
Note: An excellent defensive type pokemon with a wide range of resistances and only 2 weakness, but with its extremely high SP.DEF, it can be countered against. Its meant more for team situations than for singles. |

I have to check out the new pokemon.
I used to play Pokemon on the gameboy. It was one of the most fun games on the gameboy!
I've always waited to make my own pokemon like game.
Gotta catch em all! |

The story in BW2 is definately an improvement over the first iteration. I think its because the story was so dark in the 1st one that it kinda makes kids try to think of the ethical decisions about pokemon. Too bad PETA had to go and take the next step. |

PETA made a flash game about Pokemon. They're reasoning is that Pokemon promotes animal abuse. Its very graphic and has created a huge mess. Don't look it up. Seriously its really bad. |

The story is more or less a continuation of the first one two years after the events where team Plasma was torn apart from the hero of the last game. Its light hearted because you have an ally who tries to get a Purrloin that was stolen by team plasma, and he slowly learns how his rage is not the answer. I'm near the end of the game myself, so it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
As for PETA, they made a game called Black and Blue. They have overstepped their boundaries by once again slandering Nintendo, not that they seem to care despite the 4 other nintendo games that negatively impacts them. How can a game that depicts friendship and teamwork between your pokemon in any way seem like animal abuse? Its like they have not played the game or seen the show to actually learn anything about the game. Its just another smear to justify their campaign ethic. |

mostly PETA are just acting stupid and childish and wanting attention
mostly kinda like how "christians" hate pokemon because of the evolve
thing when mostly it's the "butterfly effect"...
meaning caterpillar to a butterfly stages... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inFtOMx8nDU
as for Peta some of them sound like hypocrites |

Its kinda hard right now to take PETA seriously, period. You'd think that people like that would use their funds to help better support pounds to make them less kill friendly, or have a fund to help get more animals adopted by paying people to take them out of the centers. |

Anyways, back to the game. Its surprising how much attention fighting types have gotten since the last time I played the game. They are so overpowered these days with so many resistances and strengths that its hard to not use them. Gamefreak needs to introduce new types to the game to help balance them out. I have actually thought of a few myself:
1.Air- I know people already think of flying when I say this, but it should be treated separately from that type. Steel types would have another kind of pokemon to be strong against, and other types would have something else to use.
Powerful Against:
Flying -Wind controls how birds fly, so it makes sense
Water- Since water is made partially of air, it can be bent to their will.
Fighting- Even muscles cannot fight air (Immune to them)
Weaknesses:
Steel- Wind cannot batter down a steel wall
Dark- Think of a void where air cannot exist
Electric- Energy pass through air, so its like water in a sense.
Fire- Give fire pokemon something to be strong against.
2. Light Type- I cannot tell you how many people confuse mental energy with solar energy. They are two distinctive types and are separate no matter how you look at it. Plus it would be nice to have another type to go against the fighting type since fighting in White and Black have made them look like avatars of justice.
Powerful Against:
Fighting- Justice cannot defeat Justice
Dark- Dark vs light
Ghost- Undead vs the light
Psychic- Just another powerful type
Weaknesses:
Grass- Plants draw strength from (They are immune to light)
Dragon- Something to give dragons to fight against.
Electric- Artificial vs Real light concept
Poison- Eh, not entirely sure, but Poison types don't have alot to be strong against. |

I haven't played Pokemon since I had red for the gameboy all those years ago, but all this talk about the new game has got me thinking about picking up one of the more recent versions. Though they do seem to have gotten more complicated as the years went by. |

funny thing is if you watch the link
Peta kills off animals just like pounds... so wtf they're no better and they're 10 times worst. |
