When I saw that they were remaking Superman, I was curious and intrigued. Superman Returns was really well done, in my opinion, and fit into the original four movies virtually seamlessly.
When I looked over the cast for the new Superman movie, Man of Steel... I facepalmed.
I just watched the trailer for Man of Steel...

| We are in an era of remakes right now unfortunately. People who want to do them want to make 'creative changes' but do not always take into account how they would change the canon of the story, or how the viewers who probably know a bit more than they do will respond. |
