for reference I am not the typical reader by any means, love house music, clubbing, a programmer, just shy in meeting people.

Hi BIODRAIN,

Your answer is friends. The BEST way to find a long lasting loving relationship is to become friends with that person first...for a few months....then once you both feel comfortable with one another and have spent some quality time together.....then you can make the move and see if she responds. USUALLY, almost always, it works out.....because you've built this friendship/relationship on a rock....and it would only feel comfortable and right to move forward.

GOOD LUCK!

Great advice, Alley, but I've always wondered: if you become friends with someone you're attracted to, how soon should you wait before trying to explore being "more than friends"? Do you have a time window to make your move before you're elected "Mayor of Friendville" (a little Friends-related humor Wink )?
