The sound of a lovely female voice brought Alex back from his hypnotic gaze. He turned to look at the beautiful Raccoon in the Devil costume and at first his attention went straight into her eyes. One of them was the brightest emerald green, the other, a dark crimson red. “An interesting yet amazing combination of colors” thought Alex.

Realizing he was beginning to stare, Alex suddenly remembered what she had just told him. Giving her a look of surprise, he said “Sinclaire did you say? What a lovely name!” He gave her a big smile. “Nice to meet you Ms. Sinclaire, my names Alex…Alexander Sinclair, to be precise.”

Drodel pulled out the invite he got. "Don't got a clue. I found mine nailed to my door." Drodel replyed. "Oh hey Artyom. Ya its been a while. How do you like Bonbon?" Drodel replyed as he turned to Artyom.

"I see... Wonder what these invitations are all about," Leaf said to Drodel. "Why would someone want to...?"

"Ah, perfect! You are all here," a new voice said above the others.

Leaf looked around to find who spoke when he spotted a rather smart-looking giraffe in a butler's outfit. His hair was slicked back and a thin mustache was upon his face. The giraffe reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a red envelope.

"Now, then... I suppose you are wondering why you are all here. It turns out my master, Lord Faldin, is interested in having a contest. The prize for winning his little game of his is rather extravagant for you all."

Félicette listened to the voice addressing everyone and looked to her letter as he held up an identical one. "Oh great, I've been entered into a contest. I hope it's not a swindle" she thought to herself before saying "Extravagant?"

Jessica looked at the panther with a curious expression, "That is quite an interesting coincidence." she said after a few moments had passed.

Than when she heard the loud voice she looked around and spotted the giraffe holding one of the same envelopes she had received, she reached into her purse and pulled it out as she listened to him.

"A contest," Jessica said loudly giving the giraffe a doubtful gaze, "what kind of count invites a bunch of random group off the street for something like this?"

"What's not to like?" He said with a smirk. "So Drodel who's your frie...." Before he could finish his sentence he overheard a loud voice speaking about a contest as well as a Raccoons response to the Giraffes statement.

"A contest? Sounds like fun."

You have a group rather disparate of people. I doubt that everyone have a fair chance unless the contest is really exotic or of something really mundane.
