Methods: Many people question his motivation and techniques, but it is hard for anyone to truly understand Dr. Merrick’s ways. Usually he is the one trying to understand you. People sometimes refer to him as an excellent psychiatrist while others stress that he is far too prying. He asks the most personal of questions in such a dead and unemotional way that it would feel inappropriate to assume he had inappropriate intentions. Merrick is an expert in Psychology although he does not consider it a science. He has a high IQ and is recommended by his peers for it. He is able to scare, manipulate and twist others through his methods. His ambitious presence allows him to spark a demanding and authoritative manner in which he can use to great effect.

Personality: Frederick has an extremely convoluted mind, some question his mental stability however he easily passes every test he undergoes to prove his sanity, usually he barely even tries. He is cultured and sophisticated despite this. Taste and manners may somewhat be a compulsion to him, he judges people harshly on how they act and what they things they like. Like many of his colleagues he views morality as a subjective truth, different to every person, although he is not above his own harsh moral standards, to which others may find immoral considering how well you were to understand his intentions. Frederick is attracted by strong personality traits of value, such as intelligence or courage.

History: Not much is known about Merrick’s private life or his past, although it is apparent that he comes from a well bred and highly noble bloodline, considering his breed at the time. German Shepherds would not become a well recognised breed until 1899. His education is highly noted and he was honoured on several occasions. He has written several books on his work and his studies in psychiatry include neuroscience, psychology, medicine, biology, biochemistry, and pharmacology.

How about Merrick meets Wolf in town as a scheduled encounter after informing Wolf by letter, then Merrick explains his intentions in Bon Bon and his need for references and a places for joint business. Then they can talk and perhaps eventually TheAdept could get involved at some point.

Space Cat is correct " Asexual" refers to no interest in sex or having no sexual organs at all. However I believe Space Cat's character is one with no interest in sex other then how it affects his patients.

It's an actual orientation too with prevalence among adults, they've got a flag and everything. Besides, he's only asexual for the meantime. I have never used a male character before. I wanna get the feel of him, if that makes any sense.

Silverdor is right too. Asexual also refers to reproduction without intercourse though is its mostly used by plants and molds and lower animals such as jelly fish.
