Hi Everyone!
We've just released the new set GHOST. Please tell me, what do you think? honestly?? I was really wondering how everyone would like this set due to all the shadows and paleness of the skin and all. Do you think it's a cool effect to do every so often or would you rather see the photos shot in the same format/way as usual?
I would really like to know your thoughts...
LOTS OF LOVE! |

Honestly...the spotlight technique is fine if it's going to be done as a theme for a set such as Ghost. I also noticed a few pics from the Play Time set were also done this way. But I doubt I'd like it if it were included in every set. To me the shadows are in the way in some photos...feels more like something that would be at home in the Erotica section.
I liked the way your hair was and I liked what you were wearing. You looked good...but I'm just not feeling the shadows. |

I like the way the pics have been taken. But if you play around with the brightness and contrast, the images are even HOTTER ! |

Dear Alley:
I like Ghost, but it is not something I would suggest you do too often.
Your Black & White photos I like very much.
I can't really explain it, but to me, the shadow effect seems a little off the mark.
Maybe photos with a sepia filter would give you that different look you are looking for.
Sincerely,
YDB |

Thank you all for your honest opinion. I really appreciate it.
Down South....I wouldn't want to do that effect for every set. When you say the shadows are in the way..... Do you mean because it's sort of covering up some of the goods or do you just think the shadows are just too much for the Skin section all together? Would you like the shadows more if....they weren't as strong???
Personally I really liked the effects because it is something different....moody...and I liked the idea that the shadows were sort of hiding my love muffin and was peeking through the shadows. I thought that was sexy and a different kind of way to show my stuff. I also liked how pale the skin was. I thought it went well with the shadows and the skin still had a bit of color....so It didn't look black and white to me. I don't know, I guess I'm a weird-O.
Seriously though....it's good to know what you think....so I don't do something thinking you like it.....but then I find out that you really don't.
If anyone else has any thoughts please share them. |

If I didn't know you were going for that ghost look, fading in and out, I would have said the images were under-exposed. After looking at them a little longer, I can see how it seems ghost-like. Whether I like them or not? I do like em. The images are vivid and the lighted areas hi-lites your body beautifully. |

Overall, I liked Ghost. It definitely was a change of pace from other sets. I liked how the shadows were used to make you seem transparent. Of course, it's always a great sight seeing your dress on the floor. If I had to make a complaint, it would be how the shadows kinda obscured your love muffin. Let me tell you Alley, I LOVE your love muffin and I had to strain my eyes to see it! And you know I have bad eyes already!!! Other than that, it was a great shoot. But please, no more dim lighting on the love muffin...or I fear that I'll go blind...from straining my eyes, not from masterbat.... ummm....procrastinating....that's what I meant to say...umm, yeah... |

Alley, the set is very original ...like you said ... moody! For me, it's different than black and white pictures! There is more nuance but I also have the impression of a kind of lost of precision! Artisticaly, the effect goes perfectly with the thematic of the set! I liked very much but like down south said, I wouldn't like this effect in every set! ... well maybe in one called : fog!
Again, congrats for the originality! |

I thought that Ghost was a little underexposed,
but it's probably my crappy monitor.
Alley looked hot though. As always of course. |

Yes...the shadows dimming your "love muffin" affected me...but...I understood the theme of the set...it's called Ghost after all. It's not so much with the Ghost set as it is with the shadows. Like I said, I noticed it in Play Time as well and was concerned about it becoming a trend. You looked damn good though...
The problem is probably with me Alley...I'm thinking like a guy...you know what I'm saying?
You know what I'm saying right? |

This would have been a fantastic set to do in a Black and White mode with a lot of contrast. Dear God I would have lapped that up. I only wish that when you were totally nude we could have seen more frontal pix.But keep up the great work Love Goddess and you make my nights endless

Alley,
It's a wonderful set. I think it's really classy. I was wondering though the numbers on Ghost are about 50 greater than the previous set. Have I missed a set somewhere or is the gap there for a reason? I may pay to close attention to these things, but I just want to make certain I don't miss any great images!

Thanks for your opinions guys!
Troyholc, you haven't missed a set. The gap might be a mistake by Rick Cage or it might be there for a reason...that only Rick Cage knows about.??
I do know though....that you have not missed a set....so don't worry. |

I'm kinda surprised that more people weren't as into this set as I was. I actually thought this was one of the best sets this year! (gasp) I liked the set because it was so original. Originality always scores big points with me. I'm also a huge fan of being teased. I don't mind it at all when I don't get to see Alley's love muffin. I love it when her hand is slyly placed just between her legs, or an article of clothing just "happens" to be draped across her thigh in a way that slightly obsures the view, or her legs are crossed just enough to hide the goods, etc, etc. In fact, if I went a full set or two without seeing Alley's love muffin, and then I caught a glimpse or two of it in the third set, that would be excruciatingly exquisite! As far as the shadows, and the lighting that made your skin look pale, I LOVED the effect!
I can understand why people wouldn't want this style of photography to be the norm, but I for one would love to see more of this style. If not in the Skin section, then definitley in the Erotica section as was suggested earlier. |
