He looked down at his own plate, having only a few small pieces of pasta left.
"Oh! I didn't realize how long we talked. Don't worry about the meal, it's on me."
He pulled out his wallet and placed several florins on the table. He then pulled out his small black book and scribbled down a few numbers. Replacing the book in his coat pocket, he turned to Abigail and said "So, is there any place you wish to go to tonight?" |
