Shane gently stroked Loretta's body with his hand while breathing in her scent. He felt content. As they lay together, his mind wafted from consciousness as his body began to recover and prepare for the remainder of the night.

"Wake me soon." The wolf whispered.

Loretta snuggled up against him. "'Ow zoon?" she asked in a whisper.

Shane barely heard Loretta's question. It took him a moment to realize she had even asked it and after a minute, he responded from the edge of sleep.

"I'd hate to miss too much of this lovely night with you. Just a couple of hours..." A moment later, Shane's heavy breathing was accompanied by subtle snoring. His arm remained gently wrapped around the pink feline as he slept.

Within moments loretta, too, had fallen asleep within Shane's warm embrace.

Shane slept soundly with Loretta's warm body against his. He found comfort in the gentle sound of her heartbeat and breathing. Her scent filled his nose and mind as his body recovered.

IC: Loretta was sound asleep within Shane's embrace, taking soft breaths and exhaling faint purrs.

As the blind wolf slept, his hand absently roamed Loretta's body, stroking her back and filtering his fingers through her hair.

Shane's mind gradually became aware once more as sleep slipped from him. As he lay on the bed with Loretta in his embrace, he listened to her breathing and heartbeat. He wanted nothing more than to stay that way. Lying still, he thought for a moment, trying to determine how long he had slept. Gliding his hand down the feline's back, he gently stroked her and whispered, "Hello." It seemed such a shame to wake her.
