for me, in both categories it varies. some movie remakes are way better than the original. And some aren't. same thing with games.
One thing that I will mention is that rarely, rarely is a movie adaptation better than the book it was based on. |

Yup, I heard Silent Hill the first game gonna have a remake for the wii and ps2 and psp,
but it looks way different.... XD
Tomb Raider 1
remake was better,
the Original was good too but seems harder to beat then the remake version.
but i like the Original style lol notice
the Original have blood effect when you shoot at killer animals or etc.
The Remake only have sparks when shooting something or anthing. |

It depends a bit, actually. As for movies, I have seen a handful that I thought were better than the original. But most often, I've thought the remake was utter crap, or simply not as good as the original. So for movies, I have to say originals.
For games, I think I'm gonna stick with originals as well, even though it may vary here too. |
