I don't know if Alley is cool with me posting this, and if not Moderators please remove this post and accept my apologies if I violated any rules.

I have been searching the web for articles on Alley's old RX-7 throughout the years and had stumbled on this forum. I noticed that several readers were interested in the car and had wondered what happened to it since Alley had sold it off. Alley was kindly secretive about who bought her car, and I was very appreciative of her discretion.

Well, I am the person she sold it to years ago, and I had coveted it since. The car has rarely been seen, and has been moved around a lot for security reasons. I love the car, and even though it is now the year 2007 I still get major kudos from people who happen to be lucky enough to see this '93 vehicle on the road. The car has been captured on episode #6007 of G4TV's Street Fury, a local newspaper, and has appeared in some car shows. For the most part, it is a treasure that I seldom expose to the general public.

Over the years, my wants and needs in life have changed--some call the change "aging". I realized last year that it will be soon time to sell this car off to a worthy successor; I hope that I can sell the Alleycat to someone that can love it as much as I do. If I do not find a suitable buyer by the end of August, I plan to sell the car off to any buyer for the right price. I hope that a true Alley Baggett fan can step up to buy the car before it gets sold to someone who does not know nor appreciate the history and original owner of the RX-7.

Please go to http://www.craevax.com/alley-cat/alleycat.htm to for sales information and specifications. May the best fan win.

If Alley gets a chance to read this post, I want to thank you again for selling me such a wonderful car. It has been well taken care of (still less than 53,000 miles!), and slightly upgraded since our transaction. It was a great pleasure meeting you, and I continue to wish you all the best.

Regards!

OH WOW! I'm sad to see you have to sell my old SILVER BULLET (that's what I used to call it) but I understand. It's good to know that you took good care of it like I used to and that you really appreciate the car like I did. When I see the pictures that you've taken of my old car with all these models...in various poses, it makes me feel like it's a celebrity car! I love it!! They are really cute pics and I love how you put the FOR SALE page together. I wish you luck with the selling of the car but most of all....like you said....I HOPE YOU CAN FIND A BUYER who is a REAL fan of the car and who will continue to take good care of it.

Keep me posted and GOOD LUCK

XOXO

Craevax - like Alley said, i'm glad to see that you have taken such good care of the "silver bullet"!! it was first lucky enough to be owned by Alley, and then lucky enough to be purchased by someone who would appreciate and care for it as well as you have...

believe me, if i could, i would purchase it from you and continue the "royal treatment" what an honor it would be...

hopefully you can find a worthy buyer - make sure you do a complete background check on them!! |

Hi Alley,

When I saw this I remembered the video of you laying around on your car in a red dress. Do you intend to put it up sometime soon I hope?

Love your new look and photo seta and it was nice talking with even though it was brief.

I'll buy it, only if it comes with the blonde girl in it. |

Hi guys!

I wanted to inform you all that the car has been sold to a lucky, but unwary buyer. If you happen to see a silver RX-7 in unusually great condition driving around Texas have fun telling that person the backstory...or better yet low ball that person and THEN tell 'em the backstory after you but it from 'em.

Thanks for your interest everyone! It is nice to see that the car can still hold its own after all of these years. Maybe someday Alley will put another cool car out for sale, and I'll get another chance to covet it for another five years.

Best regards to everyone! |

Thank you for letting us know Craevax!

My next celeb car will be a www.tesla.com I hope and plan to bring some attention to that car some day in the future....mostly to talk about how environmentally friendly it is. Yes it is possibly to have that bad ass fast car and still be greener than a Crayola Crayon.

Best Wishes....and much love!

XOXO

I almost broke my neck doing a double-take when I read that Alley wants the Tesla. I write and post articles for Mark's Park It and Sell It and other blogs and the Tesla happen to be ALSO a car I am aiming to purchase next:

http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=148595655&blogID=275698491&Mytoken=2B192F31-7494-440D-B3846DACBA6FC3D254983274

Folks, this is a great car! It has just twelve moving parts, accelerates like a little red demon, but silent like a ninja! You can sneak past cops like gang busters if you opt for a black paint finish at night...not that I condone that or anything It also runs 250 miles before needing a full recharge (equivalent to a 97 Honda Accord). If you're in California, you also get the added perk of being treated as if you're carpooling, and you get preferential parking as well for driving an environmentally safe vehicle. For $100,000 it's a bargain compared to buying a BMW 6 series or other comparable luxury car.

The only downside is that one of the reasons I decided to sell the RX-7 was that the car lacked elbow room, and some of my girlfriends were well above 5'4" and looked like they were canned sardines. The Tesla also lacks elbow room.

What I'm aiming for is to check out the Aston Martin DBS coming out this October. It's the James Bond Casino Royale vehicle. Unfortunately it runs for $250,000, and so I am trying to see if I can get the DBS bodykit put on a DB9 to save me $100K, which puts me close to the cost of a Tesla without the cool gas savings.

Check out the Tesla Motors website (http://www.teslamotors.com) to see when they plan to produce normal cars for everyday consumers. Can you imagine, just being able to literally plug your car into any gas station/business/home outlet and get a quick charge off someone else's electricity? It won't be long before laws will be passed against random acts of "plug and go".

Cheers to all! |
