I saw Ghostrider for the first time today. ... ... ... ... Why aren't there any warnings on the box like "This movie blows more goats than Catherine the Great!"?

Oh, and Johnny, I feel your pain. I spent four years working for Nutbuster, I mean, Blockbuster Video.

Actually, I work for an independent, locally owned video store that kicks the ass of nearly every other chain store in town. It's a real laid-back atmosphere (and no stupid uniforms either!), and we're pretty much known in town for our amazingly huge selection of classics, international, and hard-to-find cult movies. The only downside to the job is annoying customers and having to stand on my feet for 5 to 8 hours... oh, and the pay isn't exactly stellar, but it's a part-time retail job, so that's really a non-issue...

I bought Star Trek TOS last week. I couldn't find Season One, so I settled for the second season. It's the remastered episodes. Really well done. I like how restored the film and redid the SFX.

It's still got that cheese and silliness to it, but that's what makes it so great. And William Shatner is always fun to watch when he over-acts.

Recently finished "Emperor of the North", a 1930's era action, starring Ernest Borgnine and Lee Marvin. I'm just starting "Wrongfully Accused" ( a parody of "The Fugitive").

Just finnished watching David Lynch's film 'Dune' a great film. Though it does seem to be one of those "love it" or " Hate it" movies.
Great cast and the sound track by ToTo just blows you away. Cool

I fear Sir that most people picking up Ghost Rider to watch, rather then using the DVD as a drinks coaster, would not know who Catherine the Great was. Let alone her rather dubious sexual preferances. yuk

I LOVED Deathnote and Shuffle....I promise you will too. Anyway, I'm currently watching nothing. Haven't for a month because I've been too enthralled in my writing, my poetry, and RP on another site with my mate. But if I need to put something down, then my last dvd I watched, if I remember correctly was Grumpy Old Men, and Grumpier Old Men. If none of you have seen it......DO IT LOL.....it's a hoot, especially the out takes. Well...CIAO

I also haven't sat down to watch a DVD in a while (and I work at a video store!), but the last one I did watch was Troll 2 (actually a double-sided DVD that came along with the original Troll as well). The original's pretty bad, but Troll 2 makes the original Troll look like Citizen Kane by comparison. Still, it's laughably bad, and I highly recommend people pick it up and watch it.

I am, at this moment, watching Jeff Dunham's Arguing with Myself (not for the first time). I love his stuff.

Laughing Laughing I have a hard time deciding between Achmed and Walter.
- So, Walter, anything else wrong?
- My wife and I couldn't find anywhere to park near this stinkin' joint.....I saw some jerk pull up in a brand new Mercedes and park right in the handicap spot, and when he got out, there was nothing wrong with him! Don't you hate that?.........So I ran his ass over. Laughing

-That sounds horrible!
-Yeah. Then his wife got out of the car, waving her crutches at me. I knocked her out with the passenger door. Laughing
