I know PBB has been using CCBill for years and it seems to me like you can only use creditcard to pay a membership, is there also another option for that, like Paypal or iDeal? or will there be other options for this in the future?
I do have a creditcard but I don't think I can keep it forever, I actually live on a Autism/disability benefit (without a job at this moment ) which was just enough to get accepted for a creditcard with a small spending limit, but there might be a change in a few years that I don't get that benefit anymore or not enough to keep this creditcard...
So I hope there are other payments because I LOVE this website. |

Officially speaking, PayPal prefer to distance themselves from adult content. However, in the past there have been mentions and hits at certain unwritten... exceptions.
For example, it's against their policy for paypal to be used to pay an artist on FA to draw adult art. However, (and if I'm not mistaken this actually came from one of PayPal's higher-ups) as long as you don't say on the payment that it is for adult content, or something that would lead to the payment being linked to adult content, they don't give a flying fuck. It's more a matter of 'Don't ask, don't tell', as I understand it. And in recent times, I believe, paypal have allowed Patreon to use their service to pay for adult content Patreons.
Don't quote me on any of this, though. I'm not 100% certain on any of it; it's just my understanding from the few patches of information that has been circulated and mentioned over time.
That being said, since PBB is first and foremost an adult content website, and is listed as such, PayPal won't and likely never will openly do business with it. It's important to note that it's not PayPal having an aversion to dealing with adult content, it's that they do not wish to chase away potential other business because they are dealing in adult content. So, you can blame the usual social standards and shallow mindedness of people. Violence and carnage? Yeah, sure. That's fine. Show a nipple or suggest sexual activity? Fuck off. |
