While I could list several song, I'll start with just one. I listen to this song every year on Christmas night, and every year it brings tears to my eyes. It's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

Although the Twelve Days of Christmas will always be one of my childhood favorite songs, I find its funny counterpart:Twelve Pains of Christmas to be pretty entertaining too.

Well...two of my favorites are actually norwegian Christmas songs, called "Musevisa" (in english: the mouse song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMwXanKF404 ). I think this is mostly a nostalgia thing, we used to sing that song a lot in school when I was a kid ^^

The same goes for the second one, the opening theme from a children's Christmas series called "Jul i Skomakergata" (Christmas in Shoemakergate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmUPIKt7BNE ).

Other than that, I've always thought "Away in a manger" is really beautiful. I found there's more than one song that actually has that title...but this is the one I'm thinking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOJb6uOF05Q . As well as "Oh christmas tree" ^_^

Since I'm a huge fan of Trans Siberian Orchestra, and since they do a lot of Christmas themed music, here's the one they're probably best known for. Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24
